Apex Homes, Inc. was established in 1989 by Robert Nipple now founder and President/CEO. Apex began production of their first modular home in a 40,000-square-foot facility in Middleburg, Pennsylvania. Since that beginning, Apex has grown to meet the demands of an ever-expanding market. Apex introduced the modular home industry to SYSTEM-BUILT technology, a construction method which combines modular and panelized processes with traditional stick-framed construction. From their website: “This opened the door to a new breed of customized modular product, allowing the construction of modular designs once thought to only be possible with traditional site building technologies.” Apex also builds multi-family structures, light commercial structures, town homes, condominiums, hotels, offices, schools, and churches. Apex Homes has manufactured over eight thousand homes in seventeen states and five foreign countries. Their facility now boasts 109,000 square feet of production space plus 47,000 square feet of material storage space. They build over 700 homes per year with a dealer network of over 170 approved Apex builders.
