Cavco was established in 1995 in Phoenix Arizona. The company is one of the largest manufactured home builders in the Southwest with five manufacturing facilities located in Arizona, New Mexico and Texas. The company also builds vacation type park model homes. Cavco Industries, is a subsidiary of Dallas, Texas-based Centex Corporation (NYSE: "CTX"), one of the nation's largest home builders and mortgage originators. They pride themselves on being one of the largest producers of Manufactured Housing in the U.S. markets. According to President, Joe Stegmayer, “We are most noted for our custom design work and full service Engineering Plant. We take a strong sense of pride that every home is produced to order.”
