In 1995 I accepted a sales position to sell factory built homes in Eastern Washington. I worked for a company called Valley Quality Homes. Valley is considered one of the premier builders in the state of Washington. I learned a tremendous amount of information about the industry while working for Art Berger at Valley. I admire Art’s business savvy and his dedication to building a quality manufactured home. He took his company from obscurity to a leading producer of homes in Washington.
In January of 2000 I went to work for a Fuqua dealer as a sales manager in Eastern Washington. Fuqua is also considered a quality builder in the industry with two factories, located in Boonville, Missouri, and Bend, Oregon. Fuqua Homes are a quality product with a residential appeal that is hard to beat. During my time in the industry, I completed over 125 sales transactions. I sold everything from pre-owned singlewides to spacious modular homes.
